Leann Li

Director of Patient Services

Leann Li is a bachelor prepared Registered Nurse with over 30 years of nursing experience in a variety of practice types and settings. She will complete her MSN in Population Health in 2022. She describes her nursing philosophy as being rooted in caring, curiosity, communication and civility. Over the past 15 years, she has focused her practice on home care patients with chronic pain and spasticity that require targeted drug delivery (TDD) care using intrathecal pumps to help manage their care needs. With a passion for continued education, innovation, a strong background in case management and nurse coaching; she brings vision and innovation to providing evidence-based, personalized, whole person care.

As Director of Patient Services at Pentec Health, Leann manages patient and nursing focused roles that support this vision. This includes areas of patient satisfaction, ethical review models, an American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accredited yearlong Practice to Transition Program (PTAP) for TDD nursing fellowship program, case management support, nursing informatics, nursing service support, research, and other special projects.

Leann maintains active nursing licenses in 44 states and holds two nursing certifications: CMCN (Certified Managed Care Nurse and NC-BC (Nurse Coach - Board Certified). In recent years she has achieved the following:

  • 2018 - led the effort that won the 2018 ANCC Pathways to Excellence Innovation Award
  • 2019 - presented the outcomes of the integrative care program at the ANCC Pathways to Excellence Conference
  • 2020 -co-presented “A Journey to Nurse Coaching” at American Holistic Nurses Association conference
  • 2021 - published original research results “The Impact of a Music Video on Procedural Pain and State Anxiety” in American Pain Management Nursing Magazine
  • 2022 - co-presented a poster titled “Weaving Integrative Care into the Corporate Cultural Fabric” at ANCC PTAP symposium.
