Improving Nutrient Absorption Through Medical Foods

Pentec Health understands the importance of providing medical foods tailored to individuals living with gastroenterology diseases that affect the body’s ability to absorb essential fats.

We offer medical foods to address nutrient deficiencies in patients with short bowel syndrome, cystic fibrosis and exocrine pancreatic conditions. Medical foods are specially designed and formulated to meet specific dietary requirements, with nutrients, ingredients and proportions individualized to each patient. These products often are available as powders that can be mixed into meals and snacks, or liquids and bars. They can be used only under medical supervision1.
