Hepatic Arterial Home Infusion

With our support for the Intera 3000 HAI Pump, we make bi-weekly at home refills easier for patients, relieving the burden of travel and waiting time, and improving their quality of life when they need it most.
Our support services for HAI therapy patients build on our 40 years of industry-leading experience delivering exceptional care and expertise in implanted pump services in the home setting. We take a multi-disciplinary approach to enhance outcomes through highly skilled specialty care nurses and patient support.
Specialty Care Nurses
Pentec Health maintains and exceeds the high-quality standards set forth by The Joint Commission and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Nurses Fellowship Program specific to the care and management of implanted pumps. Our nursing program is a recipient of the prestigious Accreditation with Distinction by the ANCC, is available nationwide, has received training from Intera Oncology on the proper refill procedures for the Intera 3000 HAI Pump and has safely completed 5,400 Model 3000 pump refills since 20161.
Specialty Pharmacy
We operate our own state-of-the-art specialty pharmacy for all medication preparation.
The pharmacy is staffed will full-time pharmacists and certified compounding technicians expertly trained to prepare sterile compounded medications according to patient-specific prescriptions. Our pharmacists are available to physicians and patients 24/7 and provide clinical support services, including dosing review and patient counseling, which help providers optimize their prescribing practices and patient outcomes.
Patient Support Services
Pentec has a dedicated intake team that simplifies the referral process so patients can start on service quickly. Our team includes reimbursement specialists with expertise in navigating the complexities of insurance coverage as well as assistance with verification and prior authorizations. This additional support reduces costs and removes administrative burdens, which enables physicians to spend more time caring for patients.

- Infusate concentration and dose
- Duration of last refill interval, residual, calculated flow rate and duration of next refill interval
- Review of pump implantation site and any associated issues
- Next visit schedule
