IDPN and IPN Therapy

We are a trusted partner for providers and dialysis clinics, who rely on our deep understanding of the nutritional needs of dialysis patients. As a champion for patients, we pioneered the nutrition treatment paradigm shift 15 years ago that benefits patients and their nursing teams to this day.

Presenter: Deborah Degree BSN, RN - Clinical Liaison Specialist - Renal

Poor appetite contributes to inadequate intake and Protein Energy Wasting (PEW) in dialysis patients—impacting clinical outcomes and quality of life. This course explores the complex drivers of appetite dysregulation including the effects of dialysis treatment, renal dietary restrictions, uremic toxins, and inflammation on appetite suppression. The course will conclude with a review of practical strategies to improve appetite and nutrient intake.
