Pentec’s expansion into clinical nutrition services for rare disease care is helping ensure access to the best services available for patients and their provider care teams. Our clinical case management includes ZOIA Pharma, a Pentec Company, the only medical food provider in the U.S. exclusively focused on supporting the rare disease community. ZOIA Pharma has over two decades of expertise providing exceptional service to patients with inherited metabolic disorders and other rare diseases, supplying a broad portfolio of medical foods and nutritional products.

Metabolic center clinicians rely on our team, including registered dietitians, for clinical case management and care support. Clinicians know we can provide specialized nutrition products to serve any patient with inborn errors of metabolism (IEMs), including but not limited to phenylketonuria (PKU), homocystinuria (HCU), tyrosinemia type 1 (TYR), glutaric aciduria (GA), urea cycle disorders (UCDs) and maple syrup urine disease (MSUD). Our ability to serve as a single source for formula and low protein food needs is a distinctive value to the rare disease community.

Through our ZOIA Pharma team and key partnerships with Relief Therapeutics and Firstplay Dietary Foods, Pentec’s collaborations are expanding access to a complete range of specialized nutritional products, including PKU GOLIKE® and Promin low protein foods, such as breads, cereals, pastas, soups and sauces.
