Lower GI tract symptoms are prevalent among patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and can significantly influence nutritional status, treatment adherence, and overall quality of life. This course explores the complex interplay between CKD and GI health, focusing on lower GI tract motility disorders, dialysis modality specific GI symptoms, the gut microbiota, and medication-related GI side effects. Participants will gain practical insights into identifying, managing, and mitigating GI symptoms to improve patient outcomes and nutritional status.
