Dive into a session that explores how addressing food insecurity, social connection, and home safety can support the health of older adults and ESKD patients. You’ll learn about the history of Meals on Wheels programs, services offered, and benefits for the health and well-being of older adults served. This session is beneficial for renal clinicians keen to leverage community programs to help meet dialysis patients’ nutritional and social needs. This course will award 1 CPEU related to health equity as a part of CDR’s five-year recertification requirements* for dietitians. (*Note-RDNs now have option of choosing 1 CPEU related to Ethics or Health Equity for recertification)
